Facial Liposuction is a procedure that removes fat from the face and neck, correcting double chins, jowling and features associated with weight gain. Facial definition can be achieved through facial liposuction.

Patients may be dissatisfied with the appearance of their face due to weight gain and aging. By removing the fat, the face and neck appear thinner.

What to Expect
IV sedation or general anesthesia is used. An incision is made under the chin or inside the mouth or behind the ears. A suction device is used to remove the fat from the face, jowls and neck.

Recovery
Swelling and bruising may occur, but can be managed with ice packs. Keep incisions clean and follow all post-op instructions. You may have to follow a special diet for several days. You will start to notice results after several weeks.
